The Terra de Melide Museum is located in interior Galicia in a region very linked to pilgrimage to Santiago; indeed, the French Way and the Northern (via Oviedo) Way cross the town. In 2001, it was reopened in the old Hospital of Sancti Spíritus.

The Casa da Troia Museum is located in the heart of Santiago de Compostela old town, very close to the church of San Martiño Pinario the Cathedral. The museum re-creates the environment and decoration of a students' dormitory and Santiago's university life of late 19th century. The recreation is based in the novel by Alejandro Pérez Lugín “La Casa de la Troya” (House of the Troy). From 1886 to 1906 the Casa da Troia was a students' dormitory. The 90s restoration reconfigured the rooms and chambers just like the guesthouse that appears in the novel.

The location of the museum is the old Episcopal Pazo, at the heart of the old town. The pazo was declared historical - artistic site in 1931. The complex has a Romanesque central part and later extension.

The museum was created in 1917 by the Pro-Mount Society. At first the association would use an establishment in the town of A Guarda. In 1953 the museum was moved to the current building, at the fort hill site on top of Santa Tegra hill.

The San Anton Castle was an old fortification for defending the city of A Coruña. It is situated in front of the Paseo do Parroted, in the former island known as "Lila da Pena Grande”. During its period as an island (from the 40s to the 20th century), San Antón would communicate with the city from the Casa de Botes or do Boteiro (House of Boats) - current library of the museum.
