The commemoration of the centenary of the National Association of Canned Fish and Seafood Manufacturers (ANFACO) was an ideal occasion to leave a public testimony of the vitality of the canning sector, but also to turn the story of its history into a living memory of its intense history. in anticipation of a development and expansion that will continue to constitute its hallmarks in the future. In the Anfaco Museum of the canning industry, you have museum material of great historical value, through whose contemplation you can make an interesting journey through the history of the canning industry from its origins, as well as the history and evolution of the business association created by pioneering canning to defend common interests that remain in force today, thus preserving the spirit on the basis of which the creation of the original Union of Cannery Manufacturers of the Ría de Vigo was managed.
